ASDAN Award
This qualification offers an imaginative and flexible way of accrediting students, with a GCSE equivalent award through various challenges and activities. It develops a wide range of personal qualities and attributes for students, as well as introducing them to new skills.
Students must complete various written and practical challenges from the following areas, in order to gain credits:
- Communication
- Citizenship and Community
- Sport and Leisure
- Independent Living
- The Environment
- Vocational and Diploma Preparation
- Health and Fitness
- Work Related Learning and Enterprise
- Science and Technology
- International Links
- Expressive Arts
- Beliefs and Values
When the students have gained twelve credits they will have achieved the award.
