Due to new Health and Safety restrictions, if your child has any medical condition wherby medication needs to be administered in school, then you will need to complete one of our medical forms and return it marked for the attention of Mrs Andrew, First Aid.

This will enable us to administer the medication correctly. This also applies to the administration of pain relief such as paracetamol. The form only needs to be filled out if you wish staff to administer the medication.

Procedure for First Aid in School

If your child should become unwell during school they need to report to reception to see Mrs Andrew who will then assess them. If your child is indeed found to be unwell, Mrs Andrew will telephone you and ask you to collect them. Students should not telephone parents directly and ask to be collected from school without going to reception first.

This policy is in place to safeguard your son/daughter so that we know where your child is at all times.
